1" NPT filter nozzle

The stainless steel filter nozzle is manufactured by helically winding continuous V-shaped profile wire around an internal base pipe with precisely spaced support wires. Each intersection is resistance welded to create a rigid, non-clogging screen cylinder. The V-shaped wire profile forms a continuous slot that allows water or gas to pass through while retaining filtration media such as silica sand, activated carbon, or ion exchange resin.
Non-clogging slot design: The continuous V-wire slot minimizes blockage by fine particles, ensuring long-term operational stability.
High open area: Up to 4,600 mm² open area per nozzle ensures maximum flow capacity with minimal pressure drop.
Uniform flow distribution: Precisely engineered slot geometry provides consistent flow across the entire filter bed.
Superior media retention: Effectively retains silica sand (0.35–0.65 mm), anthracite, and resin beads while allowing treated water to pass.
Corrosion resistance: AISI 316L low-carbon stainless steel with molybdenum content resists chloride attack and intergranular corrosion.
Custom thread options: NPT, BSP, and metric threads (M20–M42, G1"–G2") available for global vessel standards.

Single Tube (ST): Standard straight nozzle for general underdrain applications.
Double Head / Big Head (DH): Larger head diameter for higher open area and flow capacity, ideal for deep filter beds.
Long Neck (LN): Extended neck design for thick vessel floors or multi-layer media installations where standard nozzles cannot reach the false bottom.
What thread type should I choose for the Mexican market?
For the Mexican and North American markets, 1" NPT (National Pipe Thread) is the standard. We also supply BSP (British Standard Pipe) and metric threads (M20–M42) for European and Asian markets. All threads are precision-machined to ensure leak-free installation.
Yes. Every batch of filter nozzles is accompanied by a Mill Test Report (MTR) showing full chemical composition and mechanical properties. On-site PMI (Positive Material Identification) testing can also be performed and photographed upon request to guarantee the AISI 316L grade.
For SS316L filter nozzles with standard dimensions, the lead time is 50–60 days after deposit confirmation for quantities above 5,000 pieces. For smaller orders (500–2,000 pcs), the lead time is 25–30 working days. Rush orders can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Each nozzle is individually wrapped in plastic film to prevent surface scratching. They are then packed in plywood crates with foam padding. A typical 7,800-piece order requires 2 plywood crates (1.85 × 1.35 × 0.72 m each), with a total gross weight of approximately 3,240 kg and volume of 3.6 CBM. Each crate is labeled with product specifications, quantity, net/gross weight, and handling instructions.
